Psychosynthesis
Psychosynthesis therapy is a holistic approach that focuses on helping you understand and integrate all parts of yourself — your thoughts, emotions, and deeper sense of purpose. Unlike traditional therapies that might focus mainly on problems or past events, psychosynthesis encourages you to explore your strengths, values, and aspirations. It’s about not just resolving what’s troubling you, but also discovering your true potential and sense of inner harmony.
In psychosynthesis, we work together to identify and understand the different aspects of your life, including your challenges, desires, and any inner conflicts. The goal is to help you create a sense of wholeness and alignment, so you can live more authentically and confidently.

The first session
The first session is a welcoming space where we get to know each other and start building a therapeutic relationship. During this session, we’ll discuss your current challenges, and I’ll gather some background information to understand your story better. This includes learning about your past experiences, any emotional or mental health concerns, and understanding the areas of your life where you’re seeking support.
While I’ll ask some important questions to help assess your history and any potential risks, our conversation will remain open and relaxed. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, safe, and comfortable as we start to work together. I believe that the relationship between us is at the heart of the therapeutic process, so we’ll take time to build trust and understanding from the very beginning.
This initial assessment helps me to tailor our future sessions to best support you, but it’s also a chance for you to ask any questions, share what you’re hoping to achieve, and get a sense of how we might work together moving forward. It’s all about setting the foundation for our work and ensuring that the support I offer aligns with your needs.

Ongoing relational psychosynthesis counselling is about deepening your self-awareness and emotional understanding through a meaningful connection. As we continue to work together, the focus is on how your inner world interacts with your relationships, both with others and with yourself.
